The National Building Museum’s mission is to improve the quality of the built environment in the United States. The Museum also features a trolley museum, which includes a large area of old street cars. In addition to providing free rides, the museum offers a paid ticket that allows visitors to ride for unlimited time. In summer, the museum offers family programs featuring trolley cartoons.

Another favorite museum for young visitors is the National Museum of Natural History. The museum features displays for all ages, including dinosaurs, insects, and cultural artifacts.
